spirituality and medicine:
curriculum development project

Sharing existing courses

We are very grateful to the several institutions which have already allowed us to share information about their existing spirituality courses on this website. We hope that this information will inspire other schools to introduce their own courses.

We are keen to add to this list of good examples. If you have a course in spirituality that you teach to medical students, we would be very interested to hear details about it. If you are happy to share, then please send a resumé of the course (no more than 400 words please), to spiritualproject@qmul.ac.uk.

We are particularly interested in:

* The name of the course

* Whether it is optional or compulsory

* Which year-group it is aimed at

* How it is taught

* How students are assessed

* Any feedback you have received from students about the course

Thanks for your help.

The Spirituality and Medicine Curriculum Development Project is funded by the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.
